it is not only place that attracting chinese immigrants from many Asian countries, but also the popular turistic place in Toronot. Toronto's Chinatown is amoung the largest in North America. Many travaller and also locals head here for the best chinese restaurants, that serve different typse of chines cuisine.
It is busy, crowded place where you will find amazing array of shops with Chinese herbs, procelain, chinese souvenirs, jewelry  and silk cloths.  
You may be lucky and visit Chinatown in Toronto during a chinese festivals, including Chinese New Year.  
Typical for this place is fresh food, that is placed front of the store.

Casa Loma, a castle overlooking downtown Toronto, is one of the city's most popular tourist Attractions and it is located in Austin Terrace in Toronto. Casa Loma is a former home of financier Sir Henry Mill Pellatt. He hired E.J. Lennox to build his dream house, he did not enjoy this beauty for long, after 10 year he abounded Casa Loma in 1924. In 1937 Casa Loma opened to the public after extensive refurbishment by The Kiwanis Club. When you walk through the main entrance you will find the  Grand Hall with its 60 foot (18m) ceilings and sculpted figures. On the second floor, you can visit a bedrooms also including Sir Henry's. Also late you can climb one of the towers - the Norman Tower. Dont forget to spend a while in the lovely gardens.

Caribana - see picture. Caribana is North America's largest street festival, showcasing Caribbean/West Indian culture (in some years early August)
Beaches International Jazz Festival - The Beaches - closed to vehicular traffic about a dozen blocks of Queen St. E. between Woodbine and Beech, therfore go by subway. As many as 45 or more performers per night could be enjoyed from restaurants, clubs and at designated sidewalk performance areas.
