FRANCE ATTRACTIONS BY PROVINCE

Limousin -Limousin Region is a former province of France and now a region of France, around the city of Limoges. The limousine car is named after the region because the inhabitants wore a hood with a profile perceived to be similar to that of the car. Limousin is also a breed of beef cattle bred in the Limousin region and recognisable by their attractive chestnut red colouring.

Limoges (Lim?tges in Occitan) is a city and commune in France, the pr?fecture of the Haute-Vienne d?partement, and the administrative capital of the Limousin r?gion.
